The
goal of this assignment is to create work that utilizes the scanner as
a camera. You should begin to think of the scanner as a direct extension
of the photographic process and consider many items for direct scanning.
There are almost infinite possibilities here.
Requirements:
- Create at least 5 different collages
- No photographs allowed
- create collages directly on the scanner or
- scan elements individually and utilize layers and selections to create
collages
tip: Different
flatbed scanners have widely differing amounts of depth of field. experiment
with different scanners until you find the one that suits you best.
